These Terms & Conditions apply when you browse southernredsea.com or book an experience, transfer, tour, activity or multi-day programme offered under the Southern Red Sea trading name. The business responsible for your booking is identified on your booking confirmation.
1. Contact details
Email: southernredsea.explore.egypt@gmail.com
WhatsApp/telephone: +20 114 785 0354
2. Booking and contract formation
Please check the selected programme, date range, passenger numbers, meeting point and contact details before paying. A selected date may be held temporarily while checkout is completed. A binding booking is formed when we issue an order or booking confirmation after successful payment. If we cannot accept the booking, we will notify you and return any amount collected for it.
Availability is live but can change until payment and confirmation are complete. For multi-day programmes, the calendar date you select is the first day and the checkout summary shows the complete reserved period.
3. Prices, currencies and payment
Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the website: EUR, USD or EGP. Converted prices use the reference rate displayed by the website on the day of booking and may differ from a bank or card issuer’s rate. Your checkout and confirmation identify the currency and final amount charged. Your bank may separately apply foreign-exchange or card fees.
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe through WooCommerce. Southern Red Sea does not store full card numbers or card security codes. A price described as “from”, “on request” or “to be confirmed” is not a final payable offer until a specific amount is shown and confirmed.
4. What is included
The programme page and booking confirmation state what is included. Flights, visas, travel insurance, optional extras, meals, equipment, entrance fees and gratuities are excluded unless expressly listed. Images are illustrative of the experience and destination; weather, wildlife, vehicles, vessels and routes may vary.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate passenger, contact and accommodation information.
- Arrive at the stated meeting or pickup point on time and remain reachable using the contact details supplied.
- Hold valid passports, visas and other travel documents and follow local laws and safety instructions.
- Tell us before booking about medical conditions, mobility needs, pregnancy, allergies or other circumstances relevant to safe participation.
- Use suitable travel insurance, particularly for diving, water activities, overnight trips and non-refundable travel arrangements.
We may refuse or stop participation where reasonably necessary for safety, unlawful conduct, intoxication, abusive behaviour or failure to follow instructions. This does not remove any refund rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Changes and cancellations by you
The Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms. Any programme-specific cancellation term shown before payment takes priority where it is clearer or more favourable to you. Requests should be sent promptly by email or WhatsApp and are effective when received.
7. Changes, weather and cancellations by us
Sea state, weather, wildlife conditions, road closures, official instructions and safety considerations can require a change of vessel, vehicle, route, timing or itinerary. We may make a reasonable change that does not materially reduce the experience. If we cancel or make a significant change that you do not accept, you may choose a suitable alternative where available or a refund of the affected booking price.
8. Third-party suppliers
Transport operators, vessels, guides, accommodation providers, attraction operators and other local suppliers may deliver parts of a programme. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law and the contract, but we are not responsible for an unrelated service that you arranged independently.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made or for business losses arising from a consumer booking.
10. Events beyond reasonable control
We are not liable for failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, conflict, government action, port or airport closure, utility or network failure, or supplier disruption that could not reasonably be avoided. We will take reasonable steps to assist and will apply any mandatory refund rights.
11. Specific-date services and cooling-off rights
Many bookings are leisure services supplied on a specific date or during a specific period. Under UK consumer law, the usual 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts does not generally apply to this category. Your cancellation rights are therefore those in our Cancellation Policy, the programme-specific terms and any mandatory law that applies.
12. Complaints
Please raise an issue with the guide or team as soon as possible so there is an opportunity to resolve it. If it remains unresolved, email the booking reference, a clear description and supporting evidence to southernredsea.explore.egypt@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 business days.
13. Website content and acceptable use
Website text, branding and original media are protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the site only for lawful personal booking and information purposes and must not interfere with its security, availability or checkout.
14. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the contracting business identified on your confirmation. If you are a consumer, you also retain any mandatory protections and access to courts provided by the law of your home country. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
15. Updates
The version presented when you book applies to that booking. We may update these Terms for future bookings when services, law or business processes change.
